The Lake Beyond the Stars Relic

Ah, behold… a rather peculiar painting from one of my journeys beyond the ordinary realms.

A young girl floats peacefully upon the surface of a tranquil lake, surrounded by the silent beauty of an ancient forest. Yet, if you look closely, you may notice that the lake does not remain a lake for very long.

Its waters slowly transform into the infinite darkness of space, blending seamlessly with a sea of distant stars. And there, suspended within the vast cosmos, rests our own world — the Earth, glowing quietly in the distance.

A curious work of transformation, where water becomes the heavens, the forest becomes a gateway to the cosmos, and a peaceful moment upon a forgotten lake becomes a glimpse into the immensity of existence.

I cannot say who painted it… only that I acquired it during a journey I would much rather not explain.
